I Presently have the oldest computer in the house. A 5 year old Over Clocked EMachines W3108/W3117 Blend, NVidia GeForce8500, CPU Cooler, 2GB Patriot Ram, Modded Case... (She's my Baby) Running Dual Display on XP with the 8500 Runs Great!
Looking into a new monitor setup for the new computer I am building. Got a crossfire enabled board though I see no sense in boosting the graphics beyond the NVidia GT240 I'm purchasing. I'm not making movies for Gods sake! I currently have NVidia GEForce 8500 Which has worked fine for years.
Been looking at the 9X multiple display systems (OMG just a little pricey). To avoid the expense of these specialized systems; does anyone know if Windows 7 will support multiple graphics cards (2) running multiple displays (4).
If we dont get an answer soon we will because I'm gonna try it!
I've actually found Windows 7 to be very adaptable to hardware wishes and needs. It's better to use the manufacture's driver's rather than let windows look. I don't see any reason you would have a problem.
