want to upgrade HDD to SSD(solid state drive), anyone use brand Renice SSD? i find it on http://www.b2cit.com, it looks quality with nice price, pls advise? Thx much
See below informaiton, better than Intel, !
Renice-Tech Mini PCI-E 70mm SSD
Similar to the full-size SATA SSD's, the Renice-Tech 70mm SSD offers maximum read and write speeds up to 260 MB/s. Thanks to the unrestricted SandForce firmware, sequential read operations are good for 50,000 IOPS, while random read IOPS produce 30,000 (@4K blocks). Random write IOPS is also good for 30,000 IOPS (@4K blocks), with a 10,000 IOPS sustained burst.
As you've probably noticed, many of the features and specifications are identical to the other SandForce SF-1222 based SSDs. As such, MTBF is rated for 2,000,000 hours, and ECC is computed as 24 bytes correctable per 512-byte sector. Unrecoverable read errors account for less than 1 sector per 1016 bits read, and includes an auto bad block management system. Renice-Tech specifies the input voltage as 3.3V ±5%, with only 0.5W idle power draw and 2W at full load.
