PCI Express with internal e-SATA? Tue Mar 8, 2011 9:51:40 AM#150095Perm Link
I've been trying to find a PCI Express add-on card with an internal e-SATA for my new build. I am building in a CM-690 that is pre-wired for an e-SATA. The research I have done via Wiki shows that the 'plug' for e-SATA is different than normal SATA but. I know with the new USB 3.0 and 1394b the add-on card manufacturers will catch up soon. I just wondered if anyone knows of an existing one with e-SATA internal.

There is no such thing. For eSATA, you'll use a normal internal SATA cord to the connection on the case. The pins are the exact same, the only thing different is the external connection. Internally, it is all generic SATA.
2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!
OK That's why I cannot find it, thanks a bunch Aron
