Hitman reborn: Promise land (re-made)
Fri Feb 21, 2014 8:58:02 PMAs just about none of you know all the way back in 2012 i had started what i hoped would be a string of Hitman reborn fan fics. but sadly i had left the site for a while because i became busy. but upon my return i went back and read the old fan fics i made and new ideas started to flow to me so i decided that i would remake the last one. if you have any interest in what the last one was like then the link is right here.

The air was damp as the ceiling lamp hanged and swung around in a full circle over and over again. the seemingly young boy tied in the chair did not struggle against the man who was beating him but instead a stern look of acceptance washed over his face. everyone knows Anonn was not a character to mess with. after Anonn had smashed this boys face with his tombas for the tenth time he paused, a cruel and annoyed presence was clear as day on his bloodied face. he mouthed words but the blood was already flowing in the boys ears making him unable to hear the harsh words that escaped Anonns lips. the entire room had became a blur as his eyelids flickered. he couldn't hang on to life any longer. using the last of his strength he muttered out the words "they...will come...angry...blood thirsty" then the boys entire body collapsed under its own weight, Anonn sneered at the fact that his only lead was now dead. after drenching the entire room in the most foul smelling gasoline he snapped his fingers producing a spark the set the room on fire. he slowly walked away as the flames rose to the ceiling and finally engulfed the room in its red and orange blaze. Anonn dug in his pocket in search of his phone, he dug until he found it and he called a number that was only named as 'him'.
"so whats the news Anonn? has he said anything, will he say anything?" Anonn walked in silence with the phone pressed against his ear for a couple of seconds before opening his mouth slowly, this wasn't his favorite part of the day but it was part of his day none the less.
"People don't seem to talk as much while they burn." he could already hear the air thicken through the phone as the receiver finally decided that he would talk. before a word could be uttered Anonn finished his thought "but he did tell me that they were coming, that they were displeased and that they are coming for blood. the peace loving time of the tenth where blood and death were not factors are over and the time of the eleventh is a don." he said as he hanged up. Anonn looked at his watch seeing that it was almost time for his flight. he was heading back to Japan and back to Amy, back to the eleventh generation that he had left to train himself.

Amy rushed out of her bathroom barely grasping the floor as she ran, you could hear small pops of air pressure beneath her feet before the next one slide in front repeating the process until she was in her room. she dug around though her large pile of clothes on her bed until she found her school uniform. she speed through the house grabbing food that was left on the table. she came to a sudden pause as she reached the door almost saying 'bye mom' but she quickly reminded herself out loud "shes dead Amy...dead." she ran out the door toward the towering building that they called a high school. she crashed through the front door smoothly sliding through doors and weaving in and out of people until she had finally come to her destination. the Disciplinary committee office. once she got in she was greeted by the usual members until she got to her personal room. she opened the door and was hit with the light emitting from the open window next to the fairly sized red couch. she took a deep breath before noticing the other people in the room. Harold and Arty were at the two sides of the door while Nathan and his sister Liliane sat on the couch. they both looked at Amy one looked at her with a warm smile while Lili looked at her with a seemingly upset face.
"Well if it isn't the president, what took you so long? did you trip and fall into a lake or was there an old woman who really needed your help?" Lili sneered looking at Amy. it was clear that this wasn't the first time this had happened and Lilis face suggested that this would not be the last. "Its one thing to come late for school, but to arrive late to an eleventh generation meeting is another." Amy looked down at her shoes trying to think of something to say but her mind was empty. "If Anonn was here he would have done much worse to you then a scolding" she said looking away in disgust. Amy was at a breaking point in where she didn't know what she would do. she might feel compelled to leave the room or to cry or to break down, but she was aware none of this would be accepted by anyone in the room either then Nathan.

Nathan rubbed his left temple an sighed and then began to speak "Lili we all know that your slightly upset that your star crossed lovers scene with Anonn was exposed to all of us by Amy but it doesn't mean you have to take it out on her everyday." as he finished Amy, Harold and Arty tried to hold in there laughter but Nathan saying the entire sentence with his heart warming uppity face released them. they blurted out laughing Harold and Arty both leaning against the wall and Amy bending over holding her stomach. Lilis brows became a mess as her face looked flustered. when Anonn decided to leave she had thought stopping him would help everyone although it might have been in her best interest for him to stay also because of her obvious affection for him. Nathan held his sisters shoulder softly "Its been two years since he left and now we are all much stronger stop worrying so much." Lili shook away his hand as a shiver took over her body. Nathan didn't worry because he wasn't awake, he didn't go through the pain everyone else did, he didn't see there strongest get tossed around by a child, his blood wasn't on the floor and the walls and the ceiling that day.
Before Lili could protest Amy took a seat on the couch and spoke mildly "the tenth isn't dead and we don't know when the Azteca family will make its move. we as the eleventh generation only need to worry about becoming stronger, and that is what we have been doing." she said as she finished laughter had already filled the room.
Harold gasping for breath said "Amy stop, its so out of character for you to be dropping speeches like that." he continued laughing until a crazed looking man walked into the room, a dark aura rose from him...correction a dark calming aura came from him. Harold looked at him for a couple seconds perplexed by this mans sudden appearance. "what does a ocean flame user want with us?" he said walking up to the man with his hands in his pockets, neck outstretched and a sound of disgust rang of the words he spat out. the man said nothing but span in a circle on his heel outstretched his leg and brought it down towards Harold's shoulder only for it to be caught mid way. "your going to have to to better then that" he smiled as his his grip tightened and sun flame surrounded his hand "or i might crush your leg" he said before his whole body was lifted off the ground as the man brought his leg back up into the air. Harold released his grip and was hammered by the same leg smoothly transitioning itself from the air into his left rib cage. you could hear the cracking of bone as Harold's body flew to the right. Harold's feet touched the floor for less then a second before he launched himself into the air crashing his leg down to where the man was standing, while it went through the air sun flames surrounded it. the man moved in one fluid motion behind Harold and then flicked his arm toward Harold's neck only for it to be stopped by Arty's spear.
"well who are you pal" he said before flipping the spear and sliding it towards the mans neck.

the man tried to elbow Arty but his neck was sliced at his first movement "Harold while your right, so is she. the time of peace is long over" Arty said as he cleaned his spear "and i for one don't like sitting on my ass all day" Amy shook he head as Arty left the room soon enough Harold snapped his fingers and the body lite ablaze.
"while he didn't put it kindly he was correct we can't cling to the forgotten peace, unless your willing to have a repeat of that day" Harold winched as he remembered the betrayal and the carnage of that day. he walked out of the room heading to the gym, thoughts went through his head each step...all of them ending in bloody scenes. Harold opened the doors to the gym to see Arty already practicing with his spear on some of the slabs Harold had brought in. there eyes meet for a moment and Harold jumped at a different slab striking it in the center watching it blow up into several hundred smaller pieces. "hey how about we talk for a second?" Harold said without looking at Arty and they both sat on a bench to the side of the gym. "I'm not sure that Amy can handle the death and bloodshed to come, she's too kind...to warm hearted for all of it" he said looking at the ground.
Arty whipped some sweat from his for head and looked at Harold "your right...but if she is going to lead the Vongola in this new age there is no other choice either then for her to be ready" he said briskly then taking a minute to decide on what he would say next "unless she plans on letting go of being the eleventh then she can forget about the fun days we have had so far." he finishes and begins to walk toward another slab. he twisted his body on an angle and brushed Harold's punch to the left but catches a swift knee to the face, stuttering backwards."Don't tell me you've caught feelings for her." Arty says spitting out a tooth.
"i may just have...but how could you think about this whole situation so coldly?!" Harold yells out dropping to his knees punching the ground "we are helpless 100% helpless! if they came for out lives right now we would be dead!" he said punching a small creator into the floor on his last hit. "why can't it go away" he said meekly as he rose. "i just wanted to keep her safe...but this, this is much more then i bargained for." he said recomposing himself.
"much more then any of us did" Arty said coldly.

Harold looked at Arty "how about we have a round for training?" he says meekly facing down Arty, he receives a slight nod and the two begin to circle each other. there eyes meet for a mere second as Harold shortens the gap between the two and throws a jab aimed towards Arty's neck. Arty spins to the left barely avoiding the strike and then brings out his spear but is hit on his back by Harold's fist. He didn't know Harold was this fast. he flipped onto his feet before he crashed to the ground but as he looked up Harold's shin was already right in his face. Arty quickly arches his back to avoid being hit then scrambles back and gets to his feet. once again the two begin to circle each other. Arty spins his spear as Harold once again charges. Arty jabs at Harold but his spear only catches an after image as Harold goes for an upper cut to Arty's stomach. it connects and liquid begins to pour out of Arty's mouth before his face is meet with Harold's foot send him flying through the air.
"so there isn't holding back with you" Arty says as he spits slowly standing back up. his feet become encased in ocean flames as he slashes at Harold several times. Harold dodges the slashes and on the final one he slips and begins to fall, Arty sees this as a time to end the fight and brings his spear down toward Harold but it is to late, Harold changes his direction mid air preforming a back flip kick hitting Arty's right arm. s sharp crack could be heard and Arty drops his spear clutching onto his arm. he howls. "ah fuck you got me good you bastard." there was a lack of compassion in Harold's eyes as he raises his leg into the air.

Harold doesn't flinch at the voice telling him to stop, matter fact he paid it very little mind and he brought his foot down only to see that Arty had disappeared. he looks at the point of impact for a second before dodging a slap coming towards his face. it is followed by serveral jabs going at speeds Arty could barely keep up with and then he caught a elbow directly to his right lung. Harold fell to the ground but quickly jumped to his feet dodging a massive red flame that was aimed for him. a path separated in the middle of the flame and Lili and Amy came walking towards Harold. Before Harold could react Amy closed the gap between the two and slapped Harold right across his cheek, tears building in he eyes. "whats wrong with you! why would you do this to Arty...WHY!" she screamed crying and pounding Harold's chest. Harold's eyes cleared as he brushed his hand through her hair.
"im sorry" he said as a tear rolled down his eye. Harold pushed Amy away after they had stood there for a minute. he began to walk out of the gym knowing he would have to get over this, he would have to accept the fact that this is what he signed up for, because he truely loved Amy and he wasn't about to let someone else protect her. everything he did to this point was for Amy, so he could see her smile...he knew that he would have to become the shinning sun of the Vongola for her sake. but he would also have to be the darkness of the moon to protect her...to kill anyone that tried to harm her.
"im sorry" he said as a tear rolled down his eye. Harold pushed Amy away after they had stood there for a minute. he began to walk out of the gym knowing he would have to get over this, he would have to accept the fact that this is what he signed up for, because he truely loved Amy and he wasn't about to let someone else protect her. everything he did to this point was for Amy, so he could see her smile...he knew that he would have to become the shinning sun of the Vongola for her sake. but he would also have to be the darkness of the moon to protect her...to kill anyone that tried to harm her.

as Harold walked back to the office he sees a figure standing in wait outside the door, Harold pays him little mind as he attempts to eater the office. As Harold opens the door the figure begins to speak. "so you haven't been dreaming about Amy the entire time i was gone, your stronger now." the Figure ends. Harold tenses not knowing who this person was and still half dazed from going on his rampage during his fighting match but the mere sound of Amy's name causes him to clench his fist and make a swift turn on his heel sending his foot at the figures head with amazing speed. when he feels impact he looks to see all he hit was a hoody. Harold begins to get into a defensive stance but is already hit in the rib and falls to the ground from the impact. the figure pulls on its hoody before Harold is able to catch a glimpse of his face. the figure begins to speak again "you waste to much movement and you were two slow in your transition to defense." the figure sighs. "disappointing, if this was a real fight you would be dead."he begins to walk away as Harold, slowly and shakily, gets back to his feet. Harold clutches his rib and opens the door with clumsy hands. he attempts to take deep breaths as he slouches behind the now closed door of the disciplinary comity.
